Monica Lazăr is a child psychologist and a freelance photographer, based in Bucharest, Romania. She is 28 years old and have graduated with a degree in Cognitive psychology and Neurobyology. She began taking photos 3 years ago and food photography was her first love. She recently started doing self portraits and she is almost sure that this is what she likes most when it comes to photography. Portrait photography is like journey for me.
“Every image is an emotion I experienced, a wish, or a fear I’m dealing with. Self-portraits became that other dimension I can live in, and I’m grateful for this.” I want my work to speak about courage The courage to make something beautiful out of something painful.”
