Integral, a European company, is taking the crown away from SanDisk. After the SanDisk introduced 400GB microSD card, Integral took the initiative in their own hands and produced card with 512GB of memory.
Integrals 512GB microSD is an SDXC UHS-I U1 and meets the Video Speed Class 10 (V10) standard — it’s suitable for shooting full HD footage — with a maximum transfer speed of 80MB/s. For the sake of additional space, the Integral possibly could not produce a card with the same transfer speed of 100MB/s as SanDisk’s 400GB card. But this difference is not great.
In addition to providing massive storage capacity for smartphones, drones, and action cameras, the card can be used as a standard SD card in larger cameras using a microSD-to-SD card adapter.
Integral Memory UK Marketing Manager James Danton said: “As a company, we are very proud to be the first to achieve the 512GB capacity milestone in microSDXC.”
The 512GB microSD card will hit the shelves in February 2018. There’s no word on pricing. But for example SanDisk’s 400GB storage has price of $235 You can buy it on amazon.com
